    Easy Operation

    Start by filling the container with dry flour. Add the required water and oil (if you choose to) in their respective jars and switch on the machine. Select the number of rotis required.Get a roti a minute. The Roti-Magic can make upto 15 rotis, all of the same size and shape in 1 cycle (1 cycle =13 minutes). For more rotis, just press the button again.

    Choose Your Roti Type

    Some of us like our rotis to be soft while others prefer the roti to be crispy. Roti-Magic takes care of everyone’s choice. You can select soft, medium or hard texture. The top and bottom heating plates ensure an evenly cooked roti from both sides.

    Kneads dough automatically

    Isn’t kneading such a cumbersome task? Roti-Magic kneads dough one ball at a time. While a roti is being cooked, the next ball is being rolled to save time.

    The Cooking

    The dough ball is transferred to the hea􀆟ng plate, where it’s pressed into a round roti. Then the heating plates cook the roti within a minute. The fluffy roti is pushed out automatically. Apply ghee to taste and enjoy with your favourite curry!

    Cleaning:

    Cleaning must be done once the machine has cooled down. Use the silicone brush that comes with the machine to clean the corners and other areas of the machine. Use a damp cloth to clean the heating plates. The containers of flour, water, oil and kneading cup can be manually removed and cleaned with soapy water.

    Very disappointing experience from purchase to after-sales service

    I bought the Wonderchef Roti-Magic with very high expectations after seeing the demonstrations and promotional claims about how easily the machine can knead the dough, roll the rotis and cook them automatically.

    Unfortunately, my actual experience has been completely different.

    The machine was expensive, and I purchased it believing that I was investing in a premium product that would make daily roti preparation easier and save time. The demonstration and presentation of the product gave me confidence that this was a reliable and well-supported appliance.

    However, after using it, the machine stopped working properly after making only around 4 rotis. I immediately contacted Wonderchef customer service and raised a service complaint.

    What followed was extremely frustrating.

    Despite repeated follow-ups, I had to wait for the technician/service team. A technician eventually visited and checked the machine. The technician even made a few rotis during the visit, but after the technician left, the machine again failed to work properly.

    I then had to contact Wonderchef repeatedly and explain the same problem again. Instead of receiving a straightforward and permanent solution, I experienced repeated delays, follow-ups and uncertainty about what was actually going to be done.

    At one stage I was told that the entire unit would be replaced, but later I was contacted by the area manager and was told that a particular component, the water-level control unit, would be replaced instead. This was particularly disappointing because I had already been told that the whole unit would be replaced.

    For a product at this price, I expected much better quality, reliability and, most importantly, after-sales support.

    My biggest disappointment is not simply that the machine developed a fault. Electronic appliances can sometimes fail. What matters is how the company handles the problem afterwards. In my experience, the after-sales process has been unnecessarily difficult, with repeated follow-ups and no quick, clear and permanent resolution.

    The product is marketed as a premium automatic solution that makes roti preparation easy. Unfortunately, my experience has been that I spent a significant amount of money on a machine that became unusable after only a very short period of use, followed by a frustrating service experience.

    My advice to anyone considering buying the Wonderchef Roti-Magic: please think very carefully before spending your money. Do not rely only on the demonstration videos or promotional claims. Ask detailed questions about reliability, expected usage, what exactly is covered under warranty, replacement policy and after-sales support before purchasing.

    I genuinely regret making this purchase.
